What is the chamber energy program?
On Friday, I was having a conversation with a member and realized that we still have a large number of members who have questions about how our energy program works. In this case, this member asked if it was really a good program. So, I am going to try and help you understand what we are doing to save our members money in utility costs.
Our program is built around the simple concept of buying power. We take our members utility meters, plus those members from the other chambers that are in the program through Palmer Energy Company (our program consultant) and negotiate directly with various suppliers like First Energy, Toledo Edison, Duke, AEP, etc.
In most cases, we are successful in saving the member some money on energy costs. And the benefit of our program is that you also have access to a person who understands the energy market and is there to answer any questions you have.
To get more information on this program or to get a no obligation quote, please contact our office and we would be glad to walk you through the process personally.
