Membership Application Member Benefits Brochure

If you own or operate a business in the Defiance Area, we welcome you to join us. The following memberships are entitled to full voting privileges, Board of Director and Officer status, company listing in the directory, and Chamber benefits, as long as all partners, owners and co-owners invest in the Chamber membership.

Membership Classifications

Real Estate, Medical Professional, Insurance, Accounting, Law, Architecture Surveying, Engineering (Membership where partners and co-ownerships exist)

Each partner, co-owner, medical professional, attorney, pays a membership investment of $130 each, per year.

Retail, Wholesale, Automotive, Service, Newspaper, Radio & Construction

Membership investment has a base amount of $130 per year for up to 5 full time employees, 2 part-time equal 1 full time. For additional employees:

$130 base + $13 per employee 6-10

$180 base + $11 per employee 11-20

$325 base + $8.25 per employee 21-50

$575 base + $4.40 per employee 51+

Industrial

$130 base + $4.35 per employee 1-100

$550 base + $4.15 per employee 101-200

$950 base + $2.90 per employee 201-400

$1550 base + $2.15 per employee 401-800

$2400 base + $1.25 per employee 801-1600

$3400 base + $1.05 per employee 1601+

Utilities

Base amount of $130 per year for up to 5 full time employees. ( 2 part = 1 full )

For additional employees:

$130 base + $11.95 per employee 6-20

$320 base + $6.30 per employee 21-100

$865 base + $1.95 per employee 101+

Hospitals

$30 per bed.

Professional Membership

Entitled to the Agents, Salesperson, Attorney, Accountant, Architect, Surveyor, or engineers of a company’s membership but cannot be an owner, doctor or manager. A professional membership investment is $60 per year.

Associate Membership

Entitled to retired business and professional persons, teachers, city-county elected officials and other individuals, but excludes voting, Board of Director and Officer status. An associate membership investment is $60 per year.

Financial Institution Membership

Entitled to all benefits and is $40 per $1,000,000 of assets generated in the Defiance area.

Non-business Membership

Entitled to all benefits excluding voting, Board of Director and Officer status and is $130 per year.

Educational Membership / Non-profit Membership

For appropriately accredited educational and non-profit entities and are entitled to all benefits respectively for $130 per year.

Business Individual Membership

For individuals having an interest in the philosophy of the Chamber, whose employer does not maintain a physical business location in the Defiance area, with such members having voting, officer and director privileges. $130 per year.

Restaurants / Tavern

$235 per location.

Fast Food eateries at the Northtowne Mall

$130 per year.

Caterers

$130 per year.
