New Members benefit
SCORE (Counselors to America’s Small
Business) is an organization that offers
free and confidential business advice to
businesses. They are offering business
seminars to Defiance Chamber Members.
There is no cost for
all business seminars. The next
event is scheduled for Thursday, May 8,
2008 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Sauder Heritage
Inn in Archbold. The topic is Business
Succession: Planning for Optimal
Transition and is for family members and
business partners. If you would like

Starting, Buying or Expanding a
Business?
Small Business Basics is a free two-hour
seminar that will answer the necessary
questions about starting, buying or
expanding a small business. The seminar
will take place at Defiance County East,
Conference Room 2, 2nd Floor, 1300 E.
Second St., Defiance at the following
dates and times:
• Thursday, May 1st - 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
