Annual 10 Under 40 Award Nominations

The Ten Under Forty program recognizes 10 Defiance Community members that either work, volunteer, or live in Defiance and that have shown outstanding leadership through business achievement or community service.

Recipients will be honored at the September 13th Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting/Annual Awards Banquet at the Defiance K of C.

Nominations must be under the age of 40 years old and live, volunteer or work in the Defiance Area.

Business achievements and community service are defined as activities beneficial to other members of the community including professional achievement and community work such as board work, volunteer work, working with youth or in schools, church work or any other civic activity.

The honorees will be selected by a panel of judges made up of five former Defiance Area Chamber Leadership award winners and a representative of The Crescent-News. (Recipients can be honored only once per lifetime)

ANYONE CAN MAKE A NOMINATION
The Crescent-News will publish nomination forms between now and August 1, 2012. Nomination forms will also be made available at the Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce and on The Crescent-News website (www.crescent-news.com).
Judging will take place and selections made after August 15.
