Event Description:
The Salzedo Harp Duo, comprised of Nancy Lendrim and Jody Guinn, returns to Defiance after an exciting 2011 recital. The two began playing together to promote the music of Carlos Salzedo, along the way uncovering a number of his unpublished duo harp works. They have performed at conferences of the American Harp Society and the World Harp Congress and have given concerts and master classes throughout the United States. Lendrim is Principal Harpist with the Toledo Symphony, and Guinn holds the same position with the Akron Symphony.
